2010 Pipka Santa Memories of Christmas "Weinachtsmann". Individually Numbered and limited to 3200, 11" Tall. The wonderful World of toyland baubles and tinsel is of German origin. Everywhere the Germans migrated they brought with them their beloved Christmas traditions. St. Nicholas filled the childrens' shoes on December 6th, the Saint's feast day. On Christmas Eve, the christkindle or Christ's little helper brought gifts to children. The Weinachtsmann is accompanied by a gentle friend as he treks through the forests and woodlands throughout the world. he rings his bell as he approaches a village signaling that Christmas is here. The Weinachtsmann carries the most popular of all toys, the Teddy Bear. It's a lucky child who will wake up nestled next to their soft new friend!
